What Personal Information Do We Collect Via TrueYouinAction.com?

We collect your name and email when you sign up for a free mini-course or sign up for our newsletter.

We collect your name, email, (and possibly) mailing address, and phone number when you purchase one of our programs or sign up for a private personal coaching session. When you make a purchase you will use PayPal and/or Stripe; if you use PayPal we do not have any access to your payment information, and if you use Stripe we only have access to the last four digits of your credit card number.

We collect non-identifiable personal information using “cookies." A cookie is a small data file that a website can transfer to your hard drive through your browser. The cookie is then stored on your computer as an anonymous tag that identifies your computer, but not you. You can set your browser to notify you if cookies are received, or set up your browser to not accept cookies. We use your phone number to call you for any coaching session you may have purchased. We may use your mailing address to send you greeting cards, tokens of appreciation, or physical items connected with your purchase. Our payment processor will use your name, address, and/or phone number to process your transaction.

We use first-party and third-party cookies to compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so we can optimize our website and create a better user experience for you. We may use cookies via Google Analytics Advertising Features and Facebook Advertising for remarketing, impression reporting, and interest reporting. Click here to opt-out of Google Analytics cookies. How Do We Protect Your Information?

We use various security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information, including hosting your data on a password-protected server and/or a password-protected third-party service. Any third-party service we use to host your data will keep your information confidential and will not sell or share your information. We currently use the follow third-party services: Kajabi, PayPal, and Stripe.

We will also release your information as required by law or if necessary to protect our legal rights, to comply with a judicial proceeding or court order, to prevent threats to others or illegal activities, or to prevent abuse of this website.

Information Regarding Children

This website is not directed to people who are under 13 years of age. We do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our data retention policy is that members of the EU have control over us deleting your data; in other words, we will keep your data until you tell us to delete it. For tax purposes, we are required to keep the names and other financial and transactional information about anyone who makes a purchase for at least six years after any transaction. For legal compliance purposes, we keep customer/client files indefinitely, but EU customers/clients may request a copy of their file.
